The Black Italian Queer Project Jordan Anderson in Conversation with Fred Kuwornu"
The platform Black Italia will host Monday, June 28, at 1:00 PM EDT TIME / Ore 19 Italy a premiere event for the first time talking with Jordan Anderson founder of the digital project My Queer Blackness, My Black Queerness (MQBMBQ) which create this new virtual safe space for Black Queer people in Italy, I think it's the first time that this topic has a space in the conversation in North America and in the Italian Studies. We will screen a preview of the video produced by Converse and Jordan Anderson.
Jordan Anderson is a fashion and culture journalist & creative director who is currently based in Milan. His work often magnifies & explores political themes in and outside the fashion industry including race, gender, identity & brand and cultural ethics. He contributes to a variety of publications including Document Journal, Teen Vogue, Vogue Italia.
As a part of the extra events of the summer school Teaching Black Italy we invite scolars and professors of Italian and Africana Studies around the globe to join us.
